Characters are taken from their home universe by a powerful, bright blue, teleport beam to a TARDIS. That TARDIS has no captain; there is no Doctor associated with it. It does not take direction; it goes where it wants, when it wants. The controls are absolutely non-responsive, and you can not access her 'innards' and mechanics. The ship takes the appearance (from the outside) of the Doctor's TARDIS, except it's red police-box, rather than a blue one. Please Note: The TARDIS is not actually a TARDIS. it is a machine, mimicking a TARDIS. It is not alive.
When the TARDIS lands, a countdown clock appears in the console room. Characters are free to investigate new locations, or not. When the clock strikes 0, the ship dematerializes. If you haven't gotten there of your own, by then, the ship will beam you back.
Other Information:
Characters with special abilities and powers keep those special abilities and powers. Don't use things like telepathy or empathy (or mind control or -whatever) without permission from the other character's player.
All characters are brought from their home universe to this one. None are native. Time Lords arrive without their TARDISes. Vortex Manipulators will not work.
Characters are free to take liberties with the TARDIS, within reason. There is a pool, library, gardens, kitchen, medical lab, wardrobe, bathrooms, bedrooms, and suites. Decoration and layout may shift; she is a TARDIS.
Moderators will come up with a new location once a week or so. Characters are free to explore the setting or stay on board. We'll provide basic information -climate, tech level, type of intelligent life (if any), maybe some oddities- players are free to fill in details as they wish.
The focus of the game is relationship and character development. New locations are for extra fun, but you are never, ever obligated to play in them. Suggestions for locations, from players, are always welcome.
1.) This game will contain adult content. Players and characters must be over 18.

4.) All game play should take place in the main community - notes, phone calls, threads, if it's IC it should go in

5.) Do not run game-wide plot without moderator approval.
6.) Respect the IC/OOC line. My character may hate yours. That does not mean I hate you. If someone pisses you off, don't take it out on their character.
7.) Don't god-mod. If you're new to gaming this means, essentially, that you don't play anyone else's character. Don't assume they said, did, or even thought or felt something.
8.) Multiple versions of the same character are *not* a problem. I expect bunches of them. The more the merrier.
9.) OCs and cross-over characters are allowed, but do take time to make sure they fit within the universe. If they have special abilities or powers, they may keep those - do not use them on another character without permission.
10.) Some people are coming from SWS where multiple replies to a post is common. Some people are not. For the sake of clarity, please specify which you prefer in the subject line (locked to one (just like 'locked to Jack' only without the specific person, or open to all) to avoid confusion. This applies to 'group' threads, too. Specify in top level comments you expect replied to by someone.
11.) Be polite: don't jump into an ongoing thread without contacting the players in a thread.
12.) There are no character caps or activity checks. This is meant to be fun, not a second job.
